Where does the training take place?
Most of my clients are trained in their home or the surrounding areas. We can walk/jog together through the parks and work out together at your home. Bootcamps take place outdoors at locations throughout the Mid Sussex Area.
What happens if I change my mind want my money back?
At the end of your training block you take take up our 100% money back guarantee of you have not achieved your agreed goals.
Are you a qualified and professional trainer?
Not only have I been in the industry for 19 years. I successfully gained a Bsc. In Sports Science and other qualifications. I am fully insured for public liability.
Why should I spend money on a personal trainer?
Of course you can train alone. I believe that my main purpose is to motivate you and develop a customised training programme with you that corresponds to your requirements, problems and goals. I will mainly be your advisor. I can detect when your posture is not quite right or when you are putting too much pressure on the wrong muscles. But ultimately it does come down to you to complete the training sessions and follow the program when we’re not together.
How long can I take to use up my sessions (blocks)?
All sessions MUST be redeemed within the agreed training block.
Do I have to bring equipment with me?
I will provide all the equipment needed but if you wish you can bring along any personal pieces of equipment you would like to use.
How often should I train?
That is entirely up to you and depends on the amount of time you have and how committed you are. I would recommend two to three times a week to improve fitness and add weight loss.
Will you charge me if I cannot train for any reason?
No charge will be applied if you cancel more than 24 hours before the session, less than 24 hrs and you will be charged for the session.
What happens if I am late for a session?
If you are running no more than fifteen minutes late. I will go ahead with the session as planned. However, if you are more than fifteen minutes late, it will be considered a no-show and you will be charged.
If I am late for the session, I will train you for the full hour.
Should I Eat Before Training?
Is it better to exercise on an empty stomach so that you tap into your fat stores and burn them away?
What if you have a sensitive stomach?
Should it be carbs or protein or both?? So many questions!
The bottom line: When you eat carbohydrate-rich foods before exercise, you will perform better–mentally and physically–during your workout. The question then becomes, what works best for your body?
Sensitive Stomach?
Choose low-fibre and low-fat foods before exercise. Try to eat at least one hour before beginning your workout. Skip the peanut butter and high-fibre dry cereals before your workout. Fat and fibre hold food in the stomach longer and with your sensitive stomach, you want the food that you eat before a workout to be digested and out of your gut when you start exercise.
Best low-fat, low-fibre foods:
- Banana
- Low-fat yogurt
- Whole wheat English muffin
